Chapter O Sister in Harmony

Chapter O sister, Candace (center) joins other members of her local women's harmony chorus in a quartet performance at Moscow's Farmer Market. Chapter O is fortunate to have such a musically talented sister. Our chapter is blessed with talented sisters who are artists, writers, photographers, poets, designers, athletes, quilters, musicians, educators...the list of accomplishments never ends! Congratulations to Candace on a beautiful performance. We're so proud of you!

Let's Get Together

September means it's time to resume Chapter O meetings! Our fall potluck will be on Monday, September 19 at the home of Dana W. Here's what we have planned:
  • 5:30-6 PM: Social time - visit with your Chapter O sisters
  • 6-7 PM: Potluck
  • 7-7:45 PM: Business Meeting
  • 7:45-???: Sharing our Summer Adventures!
Our tradition of having a salad potluck continues. Please bring something to share. And, don't feel obligated to heat up the kitchen! Our local groceries and delis are happy to offer something already prepared for you to bring.

The "program" following the meeting will be a time to tell one another about summer adventures both near and far!

P.E.O. Sisters Reach Out With TLC!

P.E.O. sisters across the country lend a helping hand with a program called "TLC". Members and their families can contact a TLC chapter when hospitalized or in need of assistance in any of the listed locations. The TLC contacts are listed on the P.E.O. website.
Chapter O participates in the TLC program. We were recently contacted by a P.E.O. member from Idaho Falls. She said that her son, a University of Idaho student, is having a difficult semester. She told us that she was looking for a way to encourage him and wondered if we could help. After finding out that the student (Brian) had a birthday coming up, we delivered a dozen homemade cupcakes and a birthday card to his fraternity house on the University of Idaho campus. A report from his mother let us know that he was delighted with the surprise delivery. Brian's mom was appreciative and grateful for the TLC given to her son.
