P.E.O. Welcomes You To Moscow!

P.E.O. is now publicly recognized as a Moscow service organization at each of the four roadway entrances to Moscow. Chapters O, AB, BH, and CC collaborated to purchase and install a service recognition sign at the City limits on Highway 95 south and north. There are also recognition signs at the city limits on State Hwy 8 and the east entrance entering from Washington on the Pullman Highway. Vicky C., Chapter AB member, encouraged each chapter to contribute to the purchase of the signs. The effort was endorsed by the Moscow P.E.O. Reciprocity Council which includes representatives of each Moscow chapter. P.E.O. is now proudly recognized along with the other service organizations in our community.

Spring Auction

Saturday, April 10 turned out to be a beautiful spring day in Moscow and a perfect day for the Chapter O Spring Auction. This has turned in to an annual event where sisters gather, enjoy a yummy brunch, and generate income for the P.E.O. projects. Louise opened her home to us and we visited with one another while perusing all the fun items available in a silent auction. The selection was wonderful: scones & tea, original watercolor paintings, jewelry, handmade cards and so many more delightful items! Louise served a delightful brunch with quiche, spinach salad, pastries, strawberries and a very popular rainbow layered Jello treat!
Along with a great turnout by Chapter O members, we were introduced to several guests! Thanks to our hostess, Louise, and organized ways and means committee chairperson, Jenny, for a fun morning.

Founder's Day 2010

Marralee, Barbara, Judy, State Officer Judy V and Susan enjoying conversation following a lovely Founder's Day celebration hostessed by Chapter CC. Founder's Day is a great time to get together with all the Moscow area P.E.O.'s. We were blessed with the attendance of past state presidents and a representative of the Idaho State Chapter Executive Board. We shared a tasty salad lunch and heard a narrative history of our founding sisters. We also learned about the interesting connection between Alice Bird's father and the history of Idaho. Chapter O will hostess Founder's Day next year. Save the date...Saturday, March 5.
